Recently we were treated to a graphical comparison by the meticulous eyes of The Lens of Truth and Digtal Foundry when they compared the demo versions of Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 and Xbox 360.  While they may not have seen eye to eye on their comparisons, one of the devlopers over at Bioware recently posted an interesting bit of information about the comparison.

The PS3 demo used in the comparison was from a 2 month old build of the game.

Chris Priestly, the community coordinator of Bioware stated that the demo that was released in December was actually using an October build of the game.  And that those getting the final version of Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 will be getting a ‘noticeably better experience’ .

Mass Effect 2 for the PlayStation 3 will be shipping out for the console on January 18th and will be available in digital download format from the PlayStation Store from day one.
