Massive Amounts of DLC Inbound for Modern Warfare 3

Over the next nine months, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will see a large influx of content.  The publisher boasts that there will be a total of 20 different pieces of DLC available for purchase following yesterday’s release.  The content is said to be a mixture of many things.  This includes new maps/missions for both the multiplayer and spec ops game modes.

Planning on seeing all Modern Warfare 3 has to offer could get quite expensive if you choose to do it seperately.  Activision’s solution to this:  Call of Duty: Elite Premium.  With the $49.99 subscription, you’ll get access to all the content for the game, as well as a premium feature set for the stat tracking, social network for Call of Duty.  Compared to years past, this could end up being a good deal if you were planning on getting it all anyway.

There have been a wide range of reports that suggest that Call of Duty: Elite is having problems during launch.  Users unable to access the web based service, have complained of numerous issues. Hopefully these get sorted out before this avalanche of content begins.
