McFarlane Toys has announced it is set to release several new Titanfall action figures to go alongside the launch of Titanfall 2 in the near future. The toys themselves will be out this Winter 2016.

McFarlane Toys made the announcement as several of the toys will be previewed this weekend during the Toy Fair New York event. The new Titanfall action figures will be 7 inches tall and come with 15 points of articulation. They also promise to have better detail and all the toys come in a “new collector box“.

In the press release, McFarlane Toys mentions the Titanfall action figures will be a part of the company’s “new 2016 collector box program“. The other interesting comment in the press release is that they said the new action figures will be released “in conjunction with the highly anticipated launch of Titanfall 2“.

This new announcement pretty much confirms that EA and Respawn Entertainment are targeting an early 2017 release date for the Titanfall sequel. It was revealed not too long ago that EA expects the game to be out before March 31st, 2017.

Titanfall 2 is expected to be bigger than the original promising to include a proper single player story campaign. Apart from the aforementioned toys, a spin-off TV series based on the franchise is also in the works as well.
