Minecraft on the Xbox 360 is getting new downloadable content with a Halo-themed Mash-up pack. The image above was teased via Twitter, captioned with “Yes, this is happening”. It looks like Minecraft players will be able to build at their heart’s desire as the Master Chief with the Halo Mash-up pack, as well as reside in a world themed with Halo odds and ends.
Minecraft on the Xbox 360 has already seen a couple of Mash-up packs arrive on the console. Last year, Mass Effect and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim got the mash-up pack treatment in Minecraft. These mash-up packs included custom themes, textures, sounds and music, and it’s likely that the Halo mash-up pack will be no different.
Previous mash-up packs for Minecraft cost $3.99, it’s probably safe to assume that Halo will be the same. Since this was just a tease, there’s no word on when this Halo Mash-up will arrive on XBLA.
