by | @AttackFanboy | on October 10, 2011

Multiplayer Confirmed for Mass Effect 3

According to a recent article in Australian gaming publication, PC Powerplay, Mass Effect 3 will officially be seeing a multiplayer inclusion. The magazine claims to have visited Bioware’s Edmonton studios for hands on time with the new mode.

Reports suggest that the new mode will be “some sort of cooperative multiplayer, with a competitive element”.  What exactly that entails is unknown, but it’s also said to be a stand alone game mode aside from the single player campaign.

Look for more details as they arrive about this new feature in one gaming’s most popular franchises.  More importantly, did Mass Effect need multiplayer?  Let us know in the comments section below.
