Fans of Naruto and its follow-up series Boruto have two more reasons to anticipate the release of the latest fighting game based on the anime. The latest issue of Weekly Jump reveals Rock Lee and Hinata as new additions to the character roser of Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. The magazine scan, translated by Goutou Gamer, also offers a look into the different Ninjutsu syles for the characters previously confirmed like Naruto, Sasuke, Choji, and Sakura.
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is developed by Soliel, a subsidiary of Valhalla Games Studios that counts with some former workers of Team Ninja. In fact, the game director is Katsunori Ehara, who directed Ninja Gaiden 2. The game will offer multiplayer battles that take place in vast arenas than can be explored using a wide range of moves and techniques such as wall running and jumping to elevated locations.
The game hopes fill the gap left by CyberConnect2’s Ultimate Ninja Storm series, which has recently announced a remastered version of the original trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One.
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is set to be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on early 2018.
