Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 To Have Biggest Roster

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is set to have the biggest roster in the entire series.

A fan asked the official Naruto Video Games Twitter page on the size of the roster expected for the new game. The page answered that there will be a lot of characters. Not only will the roster be huge, but it will be “more than in any previous Storm game“.

The most characters that appeared was in Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution. That game featured 118 characters overall. It’s likely there could be well over 120 characters if this estimate is correct.

120 characters seems to be the sweet spot lately. Even 2K Sports announced recently there will be around 120 wrestlers in WWE 2K16. This must be a reason why Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 had to be delayed until 2016. They probably needed more time to add in all of the fighters that are set to be included in the game.

The game is also the first in the series to be built specifically for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms. Last year’s game only came out for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Last year’s game also had a smaller roster too with just 80 playable characters at launch with 7 support characters.

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be out in February 5th, 2016 in Europe and February 9th, 2016 in North America.
