Some new details have now been revealed for Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

The game’s Community Strategist, Arne Meyer, was interviewed recently by Skewed & Reviewed as more small details about the game were talked about.

First of all, Meyer gave a few background details on the story of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The game is set three years after Uncharted 3 and Nathan Drake is no longer a fortune hunter. He’s now found himself in a more safer line of work.

However, Drake is pulled back on one last adventure when his brother Sam comes in. This new adventure will take him across the globe to many different locations. Meyer said there will be many “various locations” apart from just Madagascar.

Meyer also explained that the PS4 console has allowed Naughty Dog to do a lot of things they weren’t able to do before. The boost to 1080p resolution is one, plus they have upped the polygon count and have boosted shaders and expanded on the gameplay mechanics.

Lastly, Meyer said Naughty Dog always pressures themselves whenever they are working on a new game. They always push themselves to make the gameplay and performance of the technology better than what was achieved before. It gives them motivation to make each new game better than the last one.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End comes out exclusively for the PS4 console in Spring 2016.
