The official NBA 2K16 soundtrack has been revealed and there will be over 50 songs in it.

The soundtrack will be curated by three different people named DJ Premier, DJ Khaled, and DJ Mustard. It will be the most extensive and biggest selection of music to date in the franchise.

Out of the 50 songs, six of them will be exclusive to NBA 2K16. The soundtrack is said to include songs from a wide variety of genres and from different eras.

The only three songs confirmed are:

  • “Blitzkrieg Bop” — The Ramones
  • “Represent” — Nas
  • “I Want You to Know — Zedd (feat. Selena Gomez)

In addition to all this, players can also choose from up to six playlists that will cater to particular tastes. Alternatively, there is the master playlist so you can listen to every song in the game if you want.

The three DJs will also be conducting music for the MyPlayer and MyGM game modes. The game’s story will be written and directed by Spike Lee.

The music in NBA 2K16 will be diverse since it’s being chosen by three different people. LeBron James, Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams were responsible for choosing the songs in the previous three games of the series as individuals.
