Earlier this week, it was announced that more Generation III Pokémon will be introduced into Pokémon GO. Since the announcement, 50 more Pokémon from the third Generation have become attainable in the game, with the new Dynamic Weather feature starting to roll out. In a new announcement on the official Pokémon GO website, however, it is stated that this isn’t quite the end of the new features coming to the game.
In addition to new Pokémon and Dynamic Weather, it is also explained that a Beta version of a new mechanic called Battle Parties will be introduced into the game soon. With Battle Parties, players will be able to put together and name parties of six Pokémon for easy selection access when battling Gyms or taking on Raid Battles. This will certainly make it easier for players who, up until this point, have had to scroll up and down their storage unit to select each Pokémon they want to use individually.
Pokémon storage is also being upgraded with the introduction of Hoenn Pokémon. The minimum storage amount is being increased by 50, so even those who haven’t purchased a storage upgrade will have room for more Pokémon. Additionally, maximum storage capacity is being increased from 1000 to 1500, for those willing to spend that many PokéCoins to get that much space.
