New NieR:Automata PS4 Dynamic Theme, Exclusive to Game of the YoRHa Edition, Revealed

Late last year, Square Enix revealed that 2017’s NieR:Automata would be re-released this year as a Game of the Year edition called the Game of the YoRHa Edition. One of the things included in this new edition for PS4 users is a new dynamic theme, which was recently revealed.

The NieR:Automata social media pages recently posted a look at the new dynamic theme that will come with the Game of the YoRHa Edition. The theme features the game’s two protagonists, 2B and 9S, against a dark background. This will be the game’s first dynamic theme, as previous themes related to the game have all been static themes. At the moment, it is unknown if the new theme will be available to those who already own NieR:Automata on PS4, or if it will only be available to those who buy the new Game of the YoRHa Edition, though the fact that it is being marketed as an exclusive theme seems to indicate the latter.

The NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition will include the base game, the 3C3C1D119440927 DLC, several Pod skins, and the Machine Mask Accessory. In addition to the new dynamic theme, the PS4 version will also come with 15 PlayStation Network avatars and some additional Pod skins, while the PC version will include the Valve Accessory and two PC wallpapers. The Game of the YoRHa Edition will become available on February 26 and will cost $39.99.
