Attack of the Fanboy

New This Week in Video Games | A Game About A Boy and a Fox

by Bill Hess

We’re just a few short weeks away from E3 2017 but that’s not stopping video games from releasing this week. There’s another full slate of games on the horizon, staggered between the traditional Tuesday release date and on Thursday May 26th.

Platinum Games fans have something to look forward to this week with the re-release of Vanquish for PC on the 25th. This re-release is said to be getting the same treatment that Bayonetta recently recieved for PC. While the long running Samurai Warriors will see another entry in the series with Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada on Tuesday.

Arguably the biggest release of the week, Rime is heading out to all platforms. The adventure title has already started to get critical acclaim from early reviews. Our review for the game will be out later this week.

Also on deck is a re-release of Street Fighter II for Nintendo Switch, Portal Knights, and a bunch of other games the full list of which you can find below.
