New This Week in Video Games (5/10 – 5/16)

Recommended Videos

With still a week to go until one of the biggest releases of the year so far in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, we still have a lot of games available this week, though your mileage may vary in how interesting they will sound to you.

Following a remaster for PS3 and PS Vita last spring, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has now made its way to PlayStation 4 as well. Even though Project Cars may have released for PC last week, this week sees its console debut for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Also of note, for those that may have missed it as part of The Last of Us for PS3 or in The Last of Us Remastered on PS4, the very good Left Behind DLC is coming this Tuesday as a standalone DLC package on both systems.

Xbox One has a few digital releases this week like Lifeless Planet: Premier Edition, but PSN has many more across its three platforms. Even Ultratron is coming with three way cross-buy on PSN on Tuesday, with a release for Wii U on Thursday. PC has its usual slew of releases as well, including Final Fantasy IV: The After Years for Steam and the very well received Axiom Verge that released for PlayStation platforms last month.
