The highly anticipated Xenoblade ChroniclesX (pronounced cross) still has no set release date in the west, but that won’t stop them from getting fans excited with new trailers.

The newest trailer for the spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii, showcases the varying environments which will appear in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It also shows off some great lighting and inhabitants of the various planets you will be visiting within the game. The JRPG is being developed by Monolith Soft, whom are also known for their work on the Xenosaga series. Check out the stunning trailer below.

Graphically it looks amazing and is quite impressive for a Nintendo Wii U title. Fans of the original will have a lot to love because the battle system is said to be the same. However, the Wii U gamepad  has been said to be used as a ‘navigational device’. No word if the game will be able to support the off-tv play.

Set in 2054 when two feuding aliens battle close to Earth and deal significant damage to the planet forcing inhabitants to evacuate. This sets up the story for the player who takes control of a passenger aboard the White Whale, an American evacuee ship. Xenoblade Chronicles X is set to release sometime in 2015 on the Nintendo Wii U.
