The next Assassin’s Creed game will be revealed very soon, according to a recent teaser that surfaced on the Assassin’s Creed website. An animated teaser for what has been referred to as “Victory” shows off an Assassin with the trademark hidden blade, brass knuckles, and a and a cane.
“Oppression Has To End” reads the page for what Ubisoft is calling the “Assassin’s Creed World Premiere Live Stream.” The stream is dated for May 12th, 2015.
Last year, a couple leaked images and details about the next Assassin’s Creed game hit the web. Alleged to be “Assassin’s Creed Victory” from anonymous sources, the game is said to take place in Victorian London during the 19th century. It was also rumored that this would be the year where Ubisoft leaves the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 behind for good.
The teaser image on the site doesn’t tell us enough as to whether this will be that game, or not. Though Ubisoft did make a statement when the game originally leaked, explaining that the leaked images were not intended for public consumption and that they were conceptual.
Stay tuned for more details on what’s next for Assassin’s Creed in the next week.
