It’s almost hockey season again, which means NHL 16 is playing on thousands of TVs and monitors across the world. The game was released just over a week ago, on September 15th, but a lot can happen in a week of pre-season. Well, not really that much has happened, just one player has been added to a Swiss team, but that simple change has prompted EA to release its first roster update for NHL 16.
Top 2016 draft prospect Auston Matthews has joined the ZSC Lions team from Zurich, Switzerland. This roster update will add Matthews to NHL 16, and put him on the team for use by players. This might not interest the majority of players, but those that get involved in the sport worldwide might want to make sure they grab this latest update. (NOTE: There may be other changes within this roster update, but this is the only one announced so far)
How does one do that, you ask. Follow these steps on either PS4 or Xbox One and you’ll be sure to have the latest and greatest roster in NHL 16.
In the NHL 16 main menu, select (Customize)
In the Customize section, select (Roster)
In the Roster section, select (Active Rosters)
In the Active Rosters section, select the most recent update organized by ‘Date & Time’ under EA SPORTS NHL Official Rosters.
NHLÂ 16 is available not on PS4 and Xbox One.
