The SoulCalibur series is largely known (at least to its casual fans) for two things: characters with big swords and guest characters. And the series sure has had quite a selection of sword-wielding guest characters over the years, from The Legend of Zelda‘s Link in the GameCube version of SoulCalibur II, to Star Wars‘ Yoda and Darth Vader in SoulCalibur IV, to The Witcher‘s Geralt of Rivia in the latest installment, SoulCalibur VI. The newest game in the series apparently isn’t content with just one guest character, though, as the future inclusion of another one was just revealed.

Bandai Namco recently announced that 2B, the main protagonist of last year’s hit action-RPG NieR:Automata, will be joining the SoulCalibur VI roster as part of the game’s DLC season pass. 2B will use plenty of moves and weapons recognizable to NieR:Automata fans, including using both her Virtuous Contract and Virtuous Treaty swords in her dual-sword combat style and using her Pod for various Pod Programs. 2B will also come with her Kainé costume as an alternate outfit, more weapons, a new stage based on NieR:Automata‘s City Ruins area, and new background music that is a new take on the “City Ruins” track from NieR:Automata‘s soundtrack.

2B’s inclusion in SoulCalibur VI will be “coming soon.” You can watch her full character reveal trailer below.
