The Nintendo Switch is set to release later this week after not that much waiting since its original announcement late last year. With that release coming so quickly, Nintendo is really shifting the marketing push into gear. Part of that push involves a traveling showcase of the system, one of which has featured WWE’s John Cena.

John Cena is without question one of the most prominent figures in the wrestling world. Though many have been annoyed by how much he was pushed by WWE, there is no question he is one of the nicest guys in the business, from surprise appearances to even working with Make-A-Wish.

Nintendo has been hosting a series of pop-up events for the Nintendo Switch prior to its release and one held in California had Cena stop by and try it out. Following this event, Mashable was able to speak with Cena to get his thoughts about the system and specifically The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

“Dude, I haven’t played Zelda since gold-cartridge Zelda. I got on Breath of the Wild and they had to take it away from me.”

Cena also went onto give his thoughts about 1-2-Switch and how he thought it would be a great party game.

“That’s a game that you want to get together with friends as adults and have a fun party night where everybody just flies off the handle — 1-2-Switch is built for that. What a fun way to spend an evening with a bunch of crazy adults having coffee or tea or whatever adult beverages you want to have.”

As a professional wrestler and also doing some acting as well, he is always on the move and he believes the Nintendo Switch is perfect for someone like that, even saying he could see that being a mainstay of his bag while traveling. Even so, he also sees the system as a viable home console as well.
