The Nintendo Switch launch is exactly one week away and potential owners are scrambling to figure out what the launch lineup will look like, and what games they’ll be getting. Zelda is a definite buy for most, but outside of that there are a lot of interesting looking games. There have even been new Nintendo Switch launch titles announced with release date changes for games like Shovel Knight and more. Now the Nintendo Switch launch lineup has grown once again with the announcement that Snipperclips – Cut it out, together!, will hit the Switch on launch day.
“Snipperclips – Cut it out, together! will be a launch game for the Nintendo Switch system on March 3,” reads the press release from Nintendo. “Available exclusively in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch for $19.99, the charming game features three main game modes. Grab a friend or go it alone in World mode, or invite some more friends who can make the cut and play Party mode or the fast-paced Blitz mode with two to four players”
Snipperclips was one of the smaller, but cuter reveals from the Nintendo Switch event. It might have gone unnoticed by some, sandwiched between massive games throughout the show. For those who like coop games though, it was a good looking game and more evidence that the Switch will be great for local multiplayer.
You can see the game in action in the video below, showing off the coop puzzle gameplay. Players need to work together to solve elaborate physics puzzles, cutting each other into various shapes and moving objects to trigger buttons, doors and other items. For those with multiple people wanting to play on their shiny new Switch, Snipperclips looks like a great choice from the growing Nintendo Switch launch title lineup.
