The Order: 1886 will not have a multiplayer component, a Ready at Dawn developer has recently confirmed. Self described as a third person action game, The Order: 1886 is currently in development for the PlayStation 4.
Better to do one thing well than a whole bunch half-assed.
Earlier this week, new details surfaced for the next-gen title that was revealed back at E3 2013, confirming that the game would run at native 1080p and 30 Frames per second on the platform.
When asked why 30 FPS, Ready at Dawn claims that was the frame rate that they had been targeting all along, focusing on the cinematic experience.
When asked why only single player for The Order, Pessino had this to say. “Better to do one thing well than a whole bunch half-assed. We are trying to make a SP experience you will enjoy.”
This is the second high profile PlayStation exclusive title to reveal that single player was the main focus. Earlier this month, it was reported the inFamous: Second Son would be a single player only exprience. Though that rumor has still yet to be officially confirmed.
