Payday 2 will get 5 DLC packs

Overkill Software has plans to release five DLC packs over the next year for Payday 2.  David Goldfarb recently sat down with Joystiq to discus the additional content,  but he also said to expect plenty of free updates and content as well.

“Payday 2 is a living thing,” Goldfarb told Joystiq.  “We have five DLCs planned together with 505 Games for the coming year.”

Overkill recently told fans to expect a few free updates in the near future.  These free updates include a new enemy variation, and the ability to customize your safehouse with all that ill-gotten loot.  We recently put Payday 2 through its paces, you can find our review of the heist simulator here.
