Deep Silver UK is publishing Persona 5 for European/PAL territories. Fans will be happy to know that the release date won’t be too far off.
Deep Silver UK tweeted: “Persona 5 will Take Your Heart on… February 14, 2017! With both the SteelBook and Premium Editions for PS4!“. Europeans can rejoice as the game has the exact release date as in North America. Atlus is publishing the game in both Japan and America.
The only country that is getting the game earlier than the rest of the world is Japan. The Japanese release date for the game is September 15th, 2016. An early 2017 release is better for RPG fans since it won’t coincide with Final Fantasy 15 coming out in late September.
Deep Silver also confirmed on Twitter that the European version of the game will be identical to the USA. It will have the same English voice actors and subtitles. It’s worth mentioning the SteelBook and Premium Editions are only available for the PS4 version. The PS3 version is just getting the standard edition.
Persona 5 is one of the most highly anticipated RPGs on the PS4 not named Final Fantasy 15. A lot of Persona fans have been waiting for it to come out for a very long time.
