The Coalition seems to be doing very well with its progress developing Gears of War 4 so far. Xbox Head, Phil Spencer, is praising what he has seen of the game.
Phil Spencer tweeted: “Stunning progress by @CoalitionGears. I remember seeing “Warfare” for the first time, same feeling today with Gears 4.”
Spencer’s words mirror that of The Coalition’s Rod Fergusson who said recently that the fourth game will be a visual showcase for the Xbox One the same way the first title put the Xbox 360 on the map.
It’s also good news that Spencer mentioned that Gears of War 4 is making “stunning progress”. This means development is on track and it’s likely the game won’t be suffering any kind of delay. It’s still scheduled to be coming out in Fall 2016 which is anywhere between the months of September until November.
Gears of War 4 will be a little different from its predecessors mainly because it focuses on new characters. The original trilogy ended its story arc, so this new game will add something fresh to the table.
As of right now, the game has only been announced as an Xbox One exclusive. It’s possible it could also be released for Windows 10 PCs, but we’ll have to wait for an official announcement.
