Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare was a complete surprise in just how good it was, moving the strategy series to a first-person shooter. Off the success of the first game, a sequel was announced that is scheduled for release next week, and now you can try out the game a little early.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is scheduled for release next Tuesday, February 23 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, but gamers now have the opportunity to try the game out on two of the three platforms through a 10 hour trial.

EA Access launched a few years ago as an excellent service for Xbox One that provides a free collection of some EA games, as well as free early access to some sort of trial for soon to be released games. This recently was expanded to PC as well under the name Origin Access, which is still in its early stages of game offerings.

For those that are subscribed to either, you can try out Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 right now for up to 10 hours. While the recent Unravel didn’t offer the full game as part of this, it sounds like this one has the full game, just being limited to 10 hours of it.

For anybody interested, you can sign up for EA Access or Origin Access for only $4.99 for the month, with it possible you could have a free trial available for the first month. It’s definitely a good way to check out Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, especially if you might be on the fence about buying it without playing it first hand.
