Update: Apparently, Driveclub will not see another delay. A known Sony employee that goes by the handle “DemonNite” on the NeoGaF forum has stated that Driveclub will not be delayed again.

Evolution Studios’ Driveclub seemed like it was ready for launch with the PlayStation 4 last year. At the last moment, Sony pulled the plug on the release, sending the racer into 2014. It was assumed that Driveclub would make an early 2014 debut, but things are looking uncertain for the racer, yet again.
Scott Rohde of Sony Worldwide Studios recently told IGN that the game isn’t ready yet, and that Evolution has gone back to the drawing board with Driveclub.
“I think that at PlayStation, perhaps more than at other places, we’re willing to kinda eat that cost and go back to the drawing board and make sure the game is great before we ship it,” said Rohde. “And that’s what’s going on right now with that game.”
In the same interview, IGN asked Rohde whether or not Driveclub was still slated for a 2014 release, to which Rohde promised more details soon.
From the sounds of it, another delay could be on the cards for Driveclub.
