It has now been revealed that Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron will be playable characters in Disney Infinity 3.0 when “The Force Awakens” play set releases later this year.
During the D23 event earlier this year, Disney revealed figures for Rey and Finn in Disney Infinity 3.0. Joining them will be X-Wing pilot Poe Dameron and the new bad guy Kylo Ren.
Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron will be available separately as playable characters as The Force Awakens play set includes Rey and Finn only. You can “experience key moments from the film” while playing through this play set.
The release date for the play set will be December 18th, 2015. This is the same day as the movie comes out. It’s best to watch the movie first before you buy the play set if you don’t want to spoil key events.
Best of all, the actors reprise their roles for the game as well. Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver all voice Rey, Finn, Poe and Kylo respectively.
This is the third Star Wars play set that will be available for Disney Infinity 3.0. The other two include Twilight of the Republic and Rise Against the Empire. These play sets cover the prequel and original trilogies respectively.
