Niantic has released a new update patch for the iOS version of Pokemon Go today. It takes the version number of the game up to 1.0.1.
The new update patch for Pokemon Go for iOS users weighs in at 153MB. It doesn’t add any new features as it is just going to make the game more stable. You also don’t have to worry too much about the game crashing.
Here are the notes: Trainers do not have to enter their username and password repeatedly after a force log out. Added stability to Pokemon Trainer Club account log-in process. Resolved issues causing crashes. Fixed Google account scope.
There will be future updates in the near future so stay tuned. Many features that people want to see are the ability to trade Pokemon with other users as well as PvP combat. The game is already popular, but adding these features will make it even better.
The game is out now in Australia, USA and New Zealand. It will be out in more countries once Niantic are able to make the servers more manageable. As of right now, the servers are still kind of patchy.
