Niantic has released a new update patch for Pokemon Go today. It’s rolling out to both Android and iOS devices and it takes the version number to 0.47.1 and 1.17.0 respectively.
Niantic announced the new update patch on the official website for the video game. It doesn’t add anything big, but you can read details of it below.
“Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.47.1 for Android and 1.17.0 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.”
- Fixed an issue where the Egg-hatching cutscene animation would sometimes be briefly visible from the map view.
- Minor text fixes
It will be interesting to see how many people will be playing the game with Pokemon Sun and Moon out now on Nintendo 3DS. Maybe many casual gamers without a 3DS are still playing it while hardcore fans have migrated over to Sun and Moon.
As always, many fans are still wanting a new update to the game that has a decent tracker. A tracker is being tested in some parts of the world, but it has yet to roll-out worldwide and it’s not in its final form yet. Are you still playing Pokemon Go or have you moved on?
