Portal 2 will mark the first implementation of Valve’s Steamworks on home consoles. The PlayStation 3 version of Portal 2 will feature a Steam Overlay very similar to the overlay on PC. Accessed by hitting the select button you can keep track of friends on Steam, trophy progress, and see the latest news and announcements for Portal 2. You’ll also get access to the Steam Cloud which can be used for saving data, or syncing information.
