PS4 Game Until Dawn Officially Goes Gold

Supermassive Games has now announced that Until Dawn has officially gone gold.

Supermassive Games announced the following on its official Twitter page: “Until Dawn has gone gold!”

Going gold in the video game industry means that development has fully been completed. This means the game is finished and won’t have to be delayed.

We can officially now confirm that Until Dawn will be ready to hit both physical and digital stores this August. The game comes out in North America first on August 25th, with the European release date scheduled for August 28th.

The game is a unique take on the survival horror genre. There are multiple playable characters and many Hollywood actors are in the game. Some famous names include Hayden Panettiere, Rami Malek and more.

It is also one of the few PS4 exclusives that will make use of the PlayStation Move controller. If you still have one from the PS3, you can use that controller to get a different playing experience.

The game is similar to Heavy Rain as each action you take has several consequences. You are also encouraged to play the game more than once to see the many scenarios and different endings you may have missed before.
