Sony has announced that the PSN will undergo scheduled maintenance for two hours next week. All PlayStation hardware will be affected and times will vary depending on where you live.
For those living in North America, PSN maintenance will take place on April 18th, 2016 starting at 9:30 PM PST and ending at 11:30 PST. If you live elsewhere, it will be taking place sometime on April 19th.
Sony also added: “Anyone who already has an account can still sign in to their PlayStation Network profile, play games, and use most applications while this maintenance is carried out. You will not be able to access Account Management, PlayStation Video, and PlayStation Store during this maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
Therefore the maintenance won’t be too bad as a lot of activities can still be done. Just bear in mind during this period you won’t be able to alter your account or buy stuff from the PlayStation Store.
