The desert map of Miramar is now available on Live Servers for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on the Xbox One.  After a series of tests on the PUBG Xbox Test Servers, the map arrives with a variety of new weapons and vehicles that were designed for the map.

Alongside the map and items comes the another update for the game as well.  One which PUBG Corp says “continues to improve optimization and stability,” for the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Xbox Game Preview version.

According to the developers players will continue to see further updates going forward that will improve building interior load times, improve terrain, and reduce the likeliness of crashing and general instability for the shooter.

It’s been six months since launch, but PUBG on the Xbox One is far from polished.  It’s far behind the PC version of the game on the Xbox One and Xbox One X.  For regular Xbox One owners the game is still somewhat of a mess with the aforementioned building interior load times being one thing that the developers have just not been able to nail down and it impacts almost every game on the lesser powered Xbox.

While the game feels far from complete, that’s not stopping people from playing PUBG on Xbox One.  It’s one of the most popular games on the console, according to last month’s NPD numbers.  It’s also not stopping the developers from releasing new DLC for the game either.  With the Miramar map and update, a new cosmetic tracksuit outfit is available for purchase for $4.99.
