The first season of Telltale’s Batman series ended on a bit of a cliffhanger with an iconic villain out on the loose in Gotham. A new rating that has popped up now hints that another season could be in the works.
Spotted by NeoGAF, the rating on New Zealand’s Film and Video Labelling Body has revealed a listing for a game titled “Batman: The Enemy Within – Season Pass.” Though the page does not refer to Telltale Games by name, it does list the director of this Batman game as Kent Mudle, who is a director at Telltale. Seeing as the first season was generally well-received and Batman is such a popular franchise, it makes sense that Telltale would continue with it.
Telltale has not officially announced a follow-up to the developer’s Batman series, however the company plans to reveal news this week at San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from July 20 through July 23.
Batman: The Telltale Series first released in August of last year. The season focused on Bruce Wayne uncovering secrets about his family and Gotham’s crime bosses that affected his identity as Batman. Episode Five wrapped up a majority of its plot, but it also hinted at new threats to the city. The rating unfortunately does give any information away about this new season.
