Ever since the game debuted on consoles, fans have anxiously awaited a PC release for Red Dead Redemption 2. In fact, they’ve been waiting for anything from the series to make its way to PC for years. The waiting has finally paid off though with the official announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 PC, which will arrive a lot sooner than many anticipated. Fans only have one month more to wait.

“Today, we’re proud to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC on November 5th,” reads the announcement from Rockstar. Pre-orders are already going live across various platforms, but those who prepurchase on the Rockstar Games Launcher will receive special bonuses including two free games from Rockstar’s back catalog. Players who preorder this way before October 22nd can choose from: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Bully: Scholarship Edition, L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition, and Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition.

Those who prefer Steam or other PC game launchers aren’t being ignored, though some may have to wait. “Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC will also be available to pre-order at the Epic Games store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop and additional digital retailers starting October 23rd with a pre-order bonus of 25 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online. Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC will also be available to purchase on Steam this December.”

As far as what will be different about Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC as compared to the console releases, expect the usual higher graphical fidelity and options, but also a few bonuses. Rockstar explains: “The first game in the Red Dead Redemption series to be featured on the PC platform, Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC features a range of graphical and technical enhancements for increased immersion along with new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons and more.”

Red Dead Redemption 2 will arrive on PC on November 5th, so be sure to check back for more info as the game gets closer to release.
