Rise of the Tomb Raider may allow gamers to have a chance to look at Lara Croft’s apartment. Her mansion is also teased, but not confirmed yet.

Rise of the Tomb Raider’s Art Director, Brian Horton, spoke about the topic during an audio podcast with Game Informer recently.

Game Informer showed some concept art for Rise of the Tomb Raider with Lara Croft hanging out in her apartment. Her apartment is situated in London. Horton notes she has a lot of books and materials that are around to help her in her research.

Horton didn’t want to share any details if Lara Croft will be obtaining her mansion in Rise of the Tomb Raider. Judging from his response, there’s a chance Lara Croft will see the mansion in the game but he’s not willing to talk about it yet. It sounds like Rise of the Tomb Raider will tell the backstory of how Lara Croft gets her mansion in the first place.

In the older Tomb Raider games, you could explore Lara Croft’s huge mansion. One of the funnier things about the Croft Mansion was that her butler would always follow her around too. In recent games, the mansion was not included.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be out later this year for the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
