EA Access first launched back in 2014 as a subscription service on Xbox One that has only grown in size and scale since. For a monthly fee, you not only get limited early access to certain new games, but get to play any games from a large library of EA games that keeps getting larger. We’ve recently seen games like Madden 16 and FIFA 16, and now yet another EA Sports title is being added with Rory McIlroy PGA Tour.
Rory McIlroy PGA Tour launched last June for Xbox One and PS4 as the first new entry in the series in a few years. The actual golfing mechanics and visuals were stellar, but a lack of content really made it tough to recommend buying it.
For those that chose to not buy it but still wanted to play it eventually, that waiting has paid off as the game will be coming to the EA Access vault next week.
Starting on May 10, EA Access subscribers will be able to download and play the full game of Rory McIlroy PGA Tour as long as they stay subscribed. This is definitely worth a try as the gameplay was some of the best in the series and some free DLC did expand on the lacking courses at least.
If you have not signed up before, you still may be able to sign up for a free monthly trial so just check it out on your Xbox One and see for yourself. Even if not, the monthly cost is very cheap to be able to check out all these games.
