The amiibo hav been in the news quite a lot lately for a variety of reasons, most of which focusing on the difficulty of finding certain figures. Wave 2 is set to arrive this week and then we are getting Wave 3 and 4 next year. However, Wave 3 is beginning to sound like it might be even harder to get, as many of the figures are retailer exclusives. After learning of three exclusives before, we have now learned of a fourth.

According to the Escapist, the Rosalina and Luma amiibo will be exclusive to Target, which was brought to light by an employee on Reddit that showed their internal inventory systems labeling it as a Target exclusive. This is no huge surprise, as it was already revealed that Shulk would be exclusive to GameStop, Meta Knight exclusive to Best Buy, and Lucario exclusive to Toys R Us.

With Rosalina making the fourth retailer exclusive, one has to wonder if any of the other five Wave 3 amiibo will be retailer exclusives as well, with major retailers like Walmart and even Amazon now securing one thus far. The question is whether having these exclusive to one specific retailer will make them more or less difficult to find. If it is exclusive, the retailer may make sure to keep them in stock, but if it is limited, there are likely on a few of those stores at most locally for gamers to check out, unless they order online. The Lucario amiibo is already sold out on pre-orders online, so it is not looking good in that department right now.
