During Gamescom, we told you about a special Nintendo 3DS XL bundle that was coming to Europe around the release of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, but at the time we had no confirmation that it was coming to the US. While we still technically don’t, most everyone knew it would be coming and a very good source has hinted that it will be as well.
Werejack on Twitter, the same guy who was the first to reveal the Pokemon X and Y 3DS XL bundle, the Wind Waker HD Wii U bundle, and the 12 GB PS3 last year, has once again taken to his account and tweeted at gaming news mainstay Wario64 once again. The following was the tweet he sent:
-
“Hey
@wario64, you know how Nintendo released Poké-fied 3DS XLs two weeks before X/Y? Well, look for something cool two weeks before Smash ;)”
It’s very obvious that he is referring to the Super Smash Bros. 3DS XL, especially with Nintendo of America tending to wait until the last second to reveal bundles like this for some reason in comparison to Japan and Europe. Stay tuned for what should be the official announcement sometime in mid to late September, with Super Smash Bros. set to launch on October 3 in the US.
