Next week we will be getting the long-awaited new IP from Borderlands developer Gearbox Software called Battleborn. We’ve seen a lot of footage leading up to this intriguing new game, but now the devs have gone and released the game’s launch trailer.
While the game is mostly multiplayer-focused, it also has a singleplayer element that you can take on with up to four other players. The game is set to feature lots of personality and humor, which is something that definitely shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has played any of the Borderlands games.
Those who do decide to take the plunge certainly won’t be at a lack for content, either, as the game will feature 25 playable characters at launch with more to come that will be completely free. There’s also several modes to go along with the many different characters and play styles, so this one is definitely shaping up to be something special.
Battleborn launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 3rd. Check out the game’s launch trailer below.
