Last year, during Pokémon GO‘s Halloween event, Hoenn Pokémon were introduced into the game for the first time. Now, almost a year later, it appears that the game is gearing up to include the next Generation of Pokémon.
The Pokémon Company recently announced via social media that Pokémon from the Sinnoh region will soon be coming to Pokémon GO. Exactly when this will occur remains to be seen, however. In addition to the new Pokémon, a number of balancing changes are set to come to the game with the intention of letting players encounter a greater variety of Pokémon while exploring their neighborhoods. These changes include weather not having as great of an impact on what Pokémon will appear and areas like parks being given a greater variety of Pokémon than was previously available. Also, Pokémon’s stats, such as CP, HP, Attack, and Defense, will all be rebalanced in an attempt to keep the game’s battle mechanic more balanced.
The inclusion of Generation IV Pokémon in Pokémon GO may be a bit overwhelming for players at first, seeing as how the Generation features a ton of evolutions of older Pokémon. Luckily, you can click here for some suggestions on how to prepare for the incoming new Generation of Pokémon.
