Following the blockbuster announcement of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided last week, some small new details have now emerged about the game.
Deux Ex: Mankind Divided’s game director, Jean-François Dugas, answered some fan questions about the game on his official Twitter account.
He confirmed that in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, players can still be able to complete missions without being seen. He said “as always and even on the boss side“.
Speaking of bosses, Dugas also noted that conversation boss-battles will be returning in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution was a successful and critically acclaimed game. Fans will be happy to know that most of the same staff members will be back developing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. This will make people happy as we should expect the same type of quality gameplay too. There’s nothing worse than a good IP getting ruined by a different game studio.
The camera in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be the same as it was in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The game will still have first-person shooting elements, but the camera shifts to third-person for stealth and takedown moments.
Lastly, Dugas said the team is still thinking on whether or not to add a “new game plus” mode to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It’s something they are still deciding on.
