A small sign at a recent toy convention in Germany seems to indicate that a currently unannounced Sonic game will arrive in 2015 on PS4, Xbox One and Wii U.
The image (which can be seen below) was taken at Nuremberg International Toy Fair and placed in an article on the German Spindash site. The two other games mentioned on the sign (Sonic: Lost World & Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games) have indeed already been released, though authenticity at this point is still a bit sketchy when it comes to the third.
According to Polygon, Nintendo and SEGA had revealed that the next three Sonic games will be appearing exclusively on Nintendo hardware. With this in mind, it would suggest that the sign may be incorrect with regards to the platforms the third game will be available on, or an earlier game will be making an appearance during the next year or so exclusively for a Nintendo platform.

Update: Sega claims that the information that came out of the Nuremburg Toy Fair discovered in this report are incorrect. While there very well may be a Sonic game on the Xbox One and PS4 eventually, Sega says that it has yet to announce details.
