Sony has presented the list of games that will take to this year’s Tokyo Game Show, which includes first-party titles like Gran Turismo Sport or Detroit: Become Human, and games developed by other companies but that have a strong connection with the PlayStation brand in Japan, like Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT or Yakuza Kiwami 2. Interestingly enough, the company notes in its press release that this is all the information it can reveal prior to its pre-TGS conference on September 19, so it’s possible that we could have some surprise announcements at the last minute.
The list of titles revealed so far includes games for PS4 and PS VR, but omits any mention to PS Vita, which is surprising to a degree since the portable console still gets regular game releases in Japan. Given that some of the titles will also be present at their respective developer’s booths, it’s expected that their presence at Sony’s Live Show is related to some exclusive features for PS4.
The Tokyo Game Show 2017 will take place in Japan from September 21 to 24. Here is the lineup of titles Sony has announced so far:
