Sony Sets Price Drop For Star Wars Battlefront On PS4

by Damian Seeto

If you chose not to buy Star Wars Battlefront during the Holidays, Sony has now dropped the price of the game on PS4 to entice more people to play the game.

Star Wars Battlefront on the PS4’s PlayStation Store has been slashed to 50 percent off the normal price in several regions. I checked my New Zealand and USA accounts and both of them have a price cut. A friend of mine in the UK confirmed the 50 percent price drop as well.

You will be happy to know that the price drop is valid to all editions of the game. This includes the Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate Editions. The Ultimate Edition includes the Season Pass so this is quite the bargain. The price drop is for a limited time so make use of the promotion.

Many people thought EA/DICE’s Battlefront lacked content so some people held off on buying the game full price. However, this didn’t stop people from buying it as EA confirmed the game sold over 13 million copies since it came out on November 17th, 2015.

If you are interested in the price drop, it might be worth getting for fans of the original trilogy of Star Wars films. Don’t bother expecting to see any The Force Awakens DLC in Battlefront as none have been planned.
