Next month’s Game Informer magazine will feature South Park on the cover, and feature a full reveal of the upcoming RPG. Yep, you heard that right. South Park, the role playing game is heading to consoles from Obsidian and THQ. It is said that the series co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are doing the writing for the game, so it’s safe to say it’ll probably be rated M.
“Unlike the cash-in Acclaim titles from over a decade ago, this ambitious project is a full-scale RPG for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3,” says Game Informer. A breif synopsis of the game was detailed in the announcement.
“As the new kid in South Park, it’ll be up to you to make friends and defend the town from a wide range of threats.” The magazine should be hitting subscriber in-boxes shortly, where we’ll like hear much more about the new game due out in 2012.
