The Star Wars Battlefront beta is underway and some PC gamers have been digging around the files to see more possible playable characters for the game.
Reddit user, TheeUberMedic, dug around the beta files finding some clues on more Heroes and Villains that will be in the game.
From what he uncovered, he found files for Han Solo, Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine. He also uncovered something interesting called “Hero Battle”. This could mean some other game mode is left to be announced in Star Wars Battlefront. A similar mode was already included in Battlefront 2.
Some other characters that other people speculate could also make the cut are Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian and even IG-88. The former two might be very likely. IG-88 could be a stretch, but he’s been a favorite for years even though he didn’t have much screen time.
The confirmed characters we have already seen in action include Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett. EA and DICE are sure to announce more characters in the game closer to the November 17th release date.
Star Wars Battlefront is only focused on the original trilogy. It’s unlikely we’ll see any prequel characters. Some Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens content is coming as DLC in December. It’s possible we may see characters from the new movie in the near future.
