Assault Mode puts players in a large scale battle on Hoth, tasking the Rebel forces from stopping an AT-AT onslaught.  In this big multiplayer mode, players get a taste of 20 v 20 gameplay, vehicular combat, as well as Jedi Heroes Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.
The Star Wars: Battlefront Beta lasts from today until October 12th. Â If you’d like to see our early impressions of the game you can check out our “This is Star Wars: Battlefront” video.

It’s unclear if any additional content will be rolled out during the beta, but those who’ve been digging around the files have found mentions of other popular heroes in the Star Wars universe. Â The Emperor, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Boba Fett were found as sound files attached to these characters. Â The files seem to be tied to a mode dealing with multiple heroes as the words “hero hunt” and “hero battle” were uncovered in the files.
Does DICE have more up their sleeve than what’s been announced thus far for Star Wars: Battlefront? Â We’ll have to wait and see, but they don’t have long to reveal all. Â Star Wars: Battlefront is slated for release on November 17th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Â Xbox One owners can get the game a little early by being a subscriber to EA Access.
