Bandai Namco has announced that Tekken 7 will be brought to the CEO 2015 event in Orlando, Florida.
Tekken 7’s director, Katsuhiro Harada, tweeted the following announcement:
“TEKKEN 7 will be at @CEOGaming 2015, June 26 – 28 at the @MadCatz booth!”
As you may know already, Tekken 7 is only available in arcade form. The only way to play the game in North America is when Bandai Namco brings it over to events like CEO 2015. We already know EVO 2015 is another event that will have the game too.
CEO 2015 is a fighting game event that will be held at the Wyndham Orlando Resort. It takes place in Orlando, Florida from June 26th until June 28th. If you visit the Mad Catz booth, you may have a chance to be able to play Tekken 7.
Bandai Namco is still developing Tekken 7 as we speak. It’s one of the most unique arcade games in recent memory as they have updated the game several times since it came out in Japan earlier this year. The game launched with only 20 characters, but this has now grown to 27 playable fighters. It will be interesting if this number is increased between now and the end of June.
As of right now, Bandai Namco has only announced Tekken 7 for arcades. Hopefully the console version is revealed at E3 2015.
