Terminal Map for Modern Warfare 3 will be announced this week

by | @AttackFanboy | on July 2, 2012

Mark Rubin of Infinity Ward has been leading the charge for popular Modern Warfare 2 maps making their way onto Modern Warfare 3.  Terminal, the popular map based in the infamous airport from 2010’s shooter will definitely arrive shortly, and could be announced as soon as this week, according to Rubin.  Anserwing fan queries via Twitter, Rubin explains that he’s readying an announcement for the new map, and unfortunately the content will arrive in similar fashion to other map packs, meaning there will be a thirty day delay for anyone not on the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live.

The multiplayer map is said to be heading out for all Modern Warfare 3 players as a free download for all users.  That means players that all players will get access to the new map whether they are Call of Duty Elite subscribers or not.

Look for the announcement sometime later this week.
