Electronic Arts and DICE have shared a new trailer of Star Wars Battlefront 2 focused on the single-player campaign, which takes the point of view of a high official of the Galactic Empire in the aftermath of the Emperor’s death. The video is a thrilling nearly 2-minute experience that is edited like an actual film trailer, and in fact, the story seems interesting enough to deserve the movie treatment.
Battlefront 2 stars Commander Iden Versio, an officer of the Empire who leads the special task force Inferno Squad, and who has a special determination in retaliate against the Rebellion after witnessing the destruction of the second Death Star from the surfice of the moon of Endor. Versio showcases a strong leadership and a level of confidence thar borderlines with some charming arrogance that reminisces of other popular male characters of the franchise. Her personality and her unique perspective on the story makes her a an addition to the series full of potential, which we hope is fully developed on throughout the adventure.
